When is your next book coming out? :)
I've always got a new book (or 5) cooking away in the background. I think up stories and sketch thumbnails and outlines here and there until I have something mostly ready to draw and write "for real". These steps take a long time and I work on ideas bit by bit. Then, whenever I decide to make a book my active project, I don't stop till it's done! I will always let you know my progress through my newsletter!
Do you do custom orders or commissions?
I don't do custom work at this time. BUT, coming in 2024, be on the lookout for custom pet portraits: original watercolor paintings of your best furry friends! ;) Thanks!!
How are the art prints made?
I've partnered with an established fine art printing company in Texas and they do extraordinary work! I chose this printer for their superior quality!!!
You will receive a giclee art print of my original artwork on highest-quality heavyweight archival fine art paper with fade-resistant, pigment-based inks. The print has a white border for easy framing. This beautiful, thick paper is softly textured just like watercolor paper, and frankly, with the crisp, bright colors, it looks just like my original piece. Basically it's top of the line!
The 8x10 (and larger) prints are carefully and securely packaged in rigid flat mailers, and sent from the printer. Because each print is made when you order it, please allow up to a week to receive your art.
Smaller prints are also made by the printer, and then I carefully package them with 100% recycled backing boards in sturdy, 50-60% recycled mailers and ship them from my studio.
And of course, watermark will not appear on your print. :)

What kind of dogs do you have? :)
I have two adorable pups: Moxie is an Aussie shepherd/Australian cattle dog (heeler) mix, and Maple is a border collie/Australian cattle dog (heeler) mix. They are super sweet!! I also have a gray tabby cat, Muesli.
